The classic GOEA algorithm: score every GO term independently.

class goatools.goea.algorithms.classic.ClassicAlgorithm[source]¶

Bases: GoeaAlgorithm

Score each GO term on its own, ignoring the GO DAG topology.

This is the historical goatools behaviour and remains the default.
